Shades of Fall

A few days ago, I had the chance to capture some nice macro shots in the cold, rainy Moscow.

The weather is similar to Israel’s winter (windy, rainy, freezing). We don’t really have an actuall fall in Israel – it’s super hot and dry, rarely rainy (very mildly though) and barely any fall leaves (and then, suddenly, you get so much rain that some cities are flodded. so there’s that). Here in Moscow – fall is much more like what you see on all those pictures haha.

My lens of choice was an inverted 50mm NIKKOR lens. You don’t get the magnification you’ll get with a 28mm lens, but it’s very comfortable to use for outdoor shots. Aperture used was around f/5.6 – f/7.1 (except the last photo, where f/1.8 was used).

High quality images will be avaliable soon on my flickr account.

What’s your favorite season of the year? 🙂
