Mother Russia Vol.2 : Moscow City

The Moscow International Business Center, better known as Moscow City, revolves around the Afi Mall (also known as the central core of the business center).

Besides photography, I spend some of my time here shopping. The variety is much larger than in Israel and the value for price is much, much higher. The Afi Mall is probably the most spacious mall I’ve ever been to. With it’s wide halls, it’s not as stressful and tiring to go shopping there as it is (for me, at least) in other malls.

On one of the days I went shopping there, I grabbed my camera and before entring the mall, I took a short walk around the business center. It was the sunniest day here so far, so I didn’t freeze to death haha.

The glass and metal monsters (yes, monsters, since you realize how tiny are you when standing near them) looked beautiful in the sunlight.

Apparently, there’s a restraunt at the 60th floor of one of the buildings, and you can go there to take photos (dine there too, of course). Also, there’s a new viewing area that recently opened on one of the skyscrapers’ roof, and they have tours over there. So, I’ll be definitely visiting one of those places while I’m here.

High quality images will be avaliable soon on my flickr account 🙂
